In this category I would like to summarize underwater photography tips from my own experience as a beginner photographer, especially wide-angle photography with housed 35mm SLR (Single Lens Reflex) cameras.

Wide-angle photography is basically to get wider coverage in the picture. If you want to taking a shot of fish with coral surroundings and landscapes, then you'll be dealing with wide-angle photography. On the other hand, in recent days, macro photography is getting more popular; in this case your shot will have the fish with somewhat blurred background.
As you can see from my underwater photos in this site, I'll concentrate on wide-angle photography tips. There are many common tips and techniques between "macro" and "wide-angle", camera and lens equipment, equipment setup, sea condition and required scuba diving skills are very different.
